Magical is the word that best describes upper elementary’s field trip to Barrier Island Sea Camp. One of my favorite parts about this trip was getting to witness the compassion, kindness, and support that this group of students offered each other.
We also got to explore the marine estuary through kayaking, seining, hiking, and star gazong. In learning about the various maritime ecosystems they developed an appreciation of these systems and the importance of their conservation.
