In Like a Lamb?

Updated: Mar 21

March might have come in like a lamb, but she's moving swiftly. Here are some outtakes from the classroom thus far this month!

We started the month with the First Great Lesson, "The Coming of The Universe", which is always a big hit.

This story is always the most dramatic. The students come into a darkened and quiet classroom.

Hard at work on a map of Africa that she chose to include the flags with. Scroll on to see the finished product... amazing! This was the student's own individual pursuit that she undertook without any kind of assignment. This is where the sweet spot lies between "Freedom" and "Limits" within a classroom!

The students classify the triangles by color and size, and then use a protractor to measure angles and a ruler to measure sides. In this case... the subject was apprehended... and the student creatively drew them "in jail". These kids are the best!
