Intercession Fun & Pajama Day

Writer's picture: Heidi KellyHeidi Kelly

This year's Intercession format allowed the children to both learn and practice their parts in the production as well as continue their work in the classroom. It worked out really well. Play practice took precedence, but even there, the children were in charge of themselves and their work. Here are some photos of them working on it, both in the classroom and as a large group in the ampitheatre.

The children worked on their art for the production right along with their usual work.

They worked on their gift ornaments for parents

They finished up research projects and models.

They created and presented stories

We managed to get in plenty of games of Dreidel

After a successful production (and with a few kids and teachers down with illness), the children celebrated the last day before the break with the tradition of Pajama Day!

... and that's a wrap on 2024!
