LE Problem Solved Expo

Writer: Heidi KellyHeidi Kelly

The Science Fair was once again a shining example of our incredible students and their families! We were so impressed by all the experiments and presentations. The children were (mostly) tireless in repeating their presentations over and over again to all the adults filing through. A HUGE "Thank You" goes out to our LE parents. Without your at-home help, this event would not be possible at the Lower Elementary level!

We had a few students who couldn't be there for the event, but they got to present to their peers the day before. Here are their boards:

I snapped a few photos of the children with their projects before the crowds drifted in. Thank you to those parents who shared photos as well... I tried to get them all but before I knew it, we had a full house!

Once the crowds came in, the children were busy explaining their experiments and the results!

One of my favorite parts of the afternoon was when Ms. Jennifer S. brought the kindergarteners up. They were super engaged and were very respectful listeners.

At the end of the day, there was a little mess with the non-newtonian liquid "oobleck", but I turned around, and two children were cleaning it up all on their own. Problem solved!
