This week we learned about our skin, that it keeps our insides covered and protected, it has so much elasticity and that it is the largest organ in the body. We demonstrated its ability to stretch and grow using a rubber band and a ballon. Such fun!
We had three more visitors this week and it was lovely to see or children welcome and embrace them!
The whole school got together on Thursday to celebrate Ms. Belkis and it was such a sweet time. Primary had their own special time to honor her on Friday at a later circle. We talked about silver linings and how Ms Belkis will go forward bringing all the gifts she has to offer to all the children she meets in her future endeavors.
Kindergarten visited the science fair on Friday and it was such a fun an interesting experience!
