Students Speak Out Through Activism

Having a voice is a powerful thing at any age. But being empowered to speak out when your 13? or 8? Or 5?!!

That is what changes the world!

Tears of pride and hope for the future blurred by vision as I watched students from Davidson Green School march downtown on Friday. It was a part of the Global Climate Strike that is happening world wide right now (September 20th through the 27th). These students know the issues, and know the power in being active to "protect what you love". It was a truly inspiring afternoon.
