Studying Asia in February

We had a blast celebrating Lunar New Year in our classroom. We exchanged Valentines. We focused on countries of Asia, reptiles, greetings from Japan, and numbers and colors in Mandarin.

February flew by and we are excited to jump into Africa. We are counting in Swahili and greeting each other with Jambo, an African hello. We are continuing to study reptiles. Our classroom is full of lesson with rainbows. We used a prism today to split the sun's light and see the rainbow of colors. As we feel and see the beginnings of Spring we are enjoying rainbows and St. Patrick's Day works.

Here are a couple pictures of our work in February! Enjoy!
