Upper Elementary students visited the Schiele Museum of Natural History where they observed North American rocks and minerals, wildlife, and plant species, toured a dinosaur exhibit, and enjoyed learning about American Indian artifacts, weapons, tools, and housing. Students viewed a presentation in the planetarium where they learned that the rotation and orbit of the Earth create climate, seasons, and cycles. The group especially enjoyed the “Block Party” exhibit, working together to build a tower more than ten feet tall!
