I know we are in 2025, but I wanted to share the wrap up of 2024. We had a blast preparing for our play and creating our ornaments for family gifts. Our classroom was full of holiday cheer.
We celebrated a festival of lights. Lighting diyas and making Rangoli for Diwali, lighting Menorahs and spinning dreidels for Hanukkah, and decorating a Christmas tree and making ornaments for Christmas.
We walked home from play practice before break; it was an adventure. We were so lucky to have Haley Burleigh and her mother in law, Elise and Jack's mom and grandmother, help us during play practice and escort us on the walk back. I would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Haley and her mother in law for taking the time to help us. We appreciated their support and their willingness to take the adventure home with us. Many thanks! I thought you all might enjoy the pictures of the adventure.
I am also including some photos of the ornament making. Each child was able to roll their own ornaments, cut them with cookie cutters, decorate them with glitter, and wrap them in a decorated bag. They enjoyed the process and the ornaments were beautiful.
